Program Development
Our behaviour specialists are experienced in developing programs to suit all ability levels. Program development is dependent on data collection, direct and indirect observation, and functions of behaviour. We target goals that are meaningful to our clients and their families.
Social Skills Training
Social skills training encompasses many aspects of daily life that we sometimes take for granted. Our behaviour specialists support our clients in building friendship skills, problem solving abilities, perspective-taking, and overall positive social interactions.
Behavioural Aide Training
The success of any intervention is dependent on its implementation. Bedrock Behaviour Services can help families find a behavioural aide to meet their needs. We also provide training on data collection and proper procedures to ensure programs are implemented with fidelity.
Daily Living & Independence
Bedrock Behaviour Services believes in increasing independence and developing critical skills that will help our clients be successful in all phases of life. Through various assessment methods, we can determine current abilities and establish a strong foundation to build on over time.
Parent Coaching & Support
Our programs rely heavily on parent or caregiver involvement. As such, it is important that any supporting adult have the tools required to implement interventions properly and consistently. Our behaviour specialists will coach you through the process to ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
Home Safety Assessment
Having a child with complex needs comes with a different set of rules, especially with regards to safety. Our Home Safety Assessments are an excellent tool to identify potential hazards that put your child at risk. We can also provide HSAs in daycare or school settings.
Community Support & Specialist Workshops
It takes a village to raise a child, and we are committed to raising awareness and advocating for the needs of our clients and their loved ones. Our Coffee and Conversation sessions feature guest speakers and provide an opportunity to connect with other parents who may be experiencing similar challenges. These sessions are offered free of charge and are held in community centres, libraries, or other public spaces. Presenters include: Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Special Educators, medical professionals, and first responders.
