Terms & Policies
RESERVATION POLICIES:
Bedrock Behaviour Services operates by appointment only. At this time we are unable to accommodate last-minute appointments or emergency sessions. If you are unable to reach your behaviour specialist by phone and you or a member of your family is in crisis, please contact your local crisis support network for immediate assistance.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
We kindly request that all appointments be cancelled with a minimum of 24hours notice so that we may offer your appointment time to another client. Please note that last-minute cancellations or “no shows” are subject to a cancellation fee. We do understand that emergencies happen, however. Contact your behaviour specialist as soon as possible to make necessary arrangements.
FACILITIES:
At this time we are providing services in home, school, or community settings only. We look forward to opening our own clinic soon.
MEDICAL CONCERNS:
As an ethical, least-restrictive practice, Bedrock Behaviour Services reserves the right to withhold treatment until the client is cleared by a medical professional. This ensures the safety of our clients by eliminating any medical conditions that may be responsible for the occurrence of behaviour, and is in accordance with the ethical guidelines outlined by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board.
CLIENT COMMITMENT:
At Bedrock Behaviour Services, your goals are our priority. Our behaviour specialists will work with you to develop a plan and help you or your loved one maximize their potential. However, we expect parents and caregivers to work just as hard as we do! Interventions and behaviour plans are only as effective as those who are implementing them, and it is important that instructions are followed as closely as possible. We work intimately with our families to ensure that parents and caregivers have the tools required to follow through with interventions and support their child as needed. We understand that not everyone is a good fit for this service model; if at any time you have concerns about the services that are being provided, please speak to your behaviour specialist directly.
New client agreements are subject to a 3-month probationary period, after which the service provider and client will decide whether it is in the best interest of all parties to move forward with the partnership for future contracts. In extreme circumstances, Bedrock Behaviour Services reserves the right to terminate services immediately following the probationary period. In all cases, assistance in locating a new service provider will be granted.
